Reset Settings

To reset settings to defaults, go to Settings -> Reset Settings.

If the application won't start to access that, move the user data directory.

Clear Cache

Thumbnail and archive caches can be cleared from Settings -> Clear Temporary Files, or manually by deleting the Cache folder under the User Data folder.
